Eric J. Costanzo, D.O.
Dr. Eric J. Costanzo specializes in Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Neurocritical Care. He is a graduate of the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Costanzo completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has been awarded board certifications by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Costanzo has been affiliated with Jersey Shore University Medical Center for over 20 years, and has a private practice in Ocean Township, New Jersey.

Description

This educational activity is designed to address pertinent substance use disorder. Substance use disorders are seen in patients throughout our health care system with prescription drug abuse reaching the level of an epidemic in our area. This course will assist the participants in becoming more familiar with the current evidenced based approaches to minimize the use of prescription opiates.
